I have a separate “Stack Overflow Bump” option in the Warescription site. For your question — which you just asked — bumping becomes available tomorrow, as there is a 24-hour window before you can bump a question.
That being said, I haven’t done this before, but you might look at using a LevelListDrawable as the ProgressBar background, then switch the level as you see fit.
